The Light Fantastic

The trouble with starting to paint a room means you have to paint everything - walls, wainscotting, dresser, cupboards etc. Himself is a very precise decorator - he does it as it ought to be done - cupboards come off walls, things are rubbed down, doors removed, some of us, if we could get away with it, would just paint round things. Things are being done properly and it will be worth it. The kitchen is currently in uproar, and consequently the rest of the house is piled up with cupboard and dresser contents. The cats have moved out to the conservatory in disgust.

Just finished for the day and I zoomed down to the sea hoping there might be a bit of a sunset going on.There was! Fortunately I didn't meet anyone for I am still wearing manky old decorating clothes, a scarf round my head and wellies. Blipping and running for a tidy up will be required before chips, wine and Arthouse! Tonight's offering looks somewhat unususal- Blancnieves. A Spanish version of Snow White, in black and white , with wild flamenco music and bullfighting dwarves. A strong glass of something will be required. I'll report back.
