Sunday 20 September 2009: Sunset over Bridlington
Been birdwatching today, which normally means that I blip a bird! However, the birds on this Skua and Shearwater trip were a little thin on the ground (if ever there was a misused metaphor that was it). I volunteer for the RSPB on these trips, helping people see the birds and telling them what they are, a fairly easy 4 hours today - we only saw one 'target' bird, a Bonxie, aka Great Skua. I'm out again in a few weeks so expect a bird then. :-)
