Festive Ficus

Something a bit more cheery than tomorrow (or yesterday as this is backblipped).

For the last couple of years we've bought a living Christmas tree for the flat. Each time we hoped that we'd be able to send it down home after Christmas where it would be loved and nurtured until the following Christmas. Unfortunately they tend to die whilst we're away over the festive season. So this year I reverted to what we used to do in the old flat. I found the biggest tree-like plant (a far larger Ficus than we used to decorate) in the flat and have decorated that instead.

We've got people coming over for a Christmas Party on Saturday. I just hope the roof gets sorted today or guests will be tripping over buckets in the hall.
