Sleepover

Katy and Sally came for a sleepover with Poppy (who, in the spirit of solidarity insisted on sleeping on the floor with them). They were still chatting at 11pm last night and they were awake by 7 this morning. When we looked in they were all sitting up in bed reading, what a fine sight.

The plan today was to buy a Christmas tree, for several yeas I have got one from the same place on the Land Settlement. Alas the place was all closed up, no trees. Very annoying especially as I had taken Pete and Julia along telling them how good the trees were.

I gave up and went home as Pops had to go swimming and then got on with some other stuff around the house.

Pete and Julia continued the tree hunt finding us an excellent one, I think they do this every year.
