New railway station on its way

Uppsala railway station and the surrounding area is now starting to get in order after a major rebuilding project. It started Autumn 2005 and all the important bits will be in place next year.

Here you can see the old station building and its new extension which will be finished next spring. If you feel like it - take a look at the BIG version. This blip gives you a closer look at Bror Hjort's statue in front of the railway station. The statue has been renovated, too.
