Dawn mist near the Howgill fells

Please view LARGE - it looks so much better

Looked out this morning and was confronted by a reddening sky. Grabbed the camera and shot out of the house. Drove up to Orton scar, where the fog was so thick I couldn't see a thing. So turned round and headed back. As soon as the sun crested the horizon, the fog thinned and turned to mist. Another U-turn, and near the Howgills, the low sun over the misty landscape with the dry stone walls leading to this copse of trees looked great.

Hope I've done them justice! Others from this morning can be seen here
