Saturday 26 September 2009: Fitting Towbar......
Today BMJnr and I fitted a new towbar to the BMW, which was the easy bit, all we had to do was take the bumper off dismantle the interior of the boot and removing part of the rear of the car and fit all the parts that was sent with the kit.
That only took about a hour and half tops, no problem, the tricky part was yet to come, I thought that is I bought a car specific wiring loom then it would be no problem, how wrong could I be, after four hours we were no nearer to getting the wiring working than when we started.
But tomorrow is a another day.
