Thank you once again for the well wishes for my dad, He had the operation on his leg this evening and opted for an epidural. I've just spoken to him on the phone and he said it all went well and he didn't mind being awake during the op. Dad now has several metal plates in his leg and will be kept in hospital for a couple of days before he can go home ( hopefully in time for Christmas ).

I'm not sure what this photo is all about, I've not left the house today so had a play with a head torch and a colander tonight and this is the result. So today's blip is .....
