Sunday 4 October 2009: Mink

Went for an afternoon walk around the loch at Stirling University and my wife spotted an unusual animal in the trees. It turned out to be this Polecat Mink. I've seen then before but not so close, this one wasn't exactly tame but it certainly wasn't scared of us so we could get quite close.

NOTE: Thanks to clickychick for pointing out that this is probably a mink and not a polecat as I first thought.
