Where Are Air Traffic Control When You Need Them?

Since our garden fence blew down in the recent storms, the birds have had more difficulty in timing and co-ordinating their incoming flights to the bird feeder. A mid-air collision was narrowly avoided on this occasion.

Spent most of the day waiting, in vain, for a roofing company to come and investigate where the rain has been getting in to the eaves of our loft; when they do come, I have a horrible feeling it might prove expensive. Our former neighbour, now a professional handyman, also came today to make a few minor repairs to the work he did in our bathroom a while back, so it's been a bit of a Flanders and Swann day

At least it's given me an excuse to stay in and indulge in some High Fidelity-style reorganisation of the CD collection , to accomodate the recent acquisitions.

Off to see Sunshine On Leith tonight.
