Wednesday 14 October 2009: Worzel Gummidge
I noticed these scarecrows in a field just along the road from me yesterday. I decided I would go back and photograph them today. The weather was very overcast so you will notice I've given it a bit of a boost in photoshop. I may go back again on a better day, assuming of course they survive.
Yes I was a fan of Worzel Gummidge, the scarecrow played by Jon Pertwee who had interchangeable heads for thinking, working, etc., etc. And of course his friend Aunt Sally.
Did you notice a story in the newspapers last month that Rod Stewart was looking very like Wurzel these days with his latest hat and hairstyle?
