Spine

On the first official day of the Christmas holidays, close to a month ago, I skewered my thumb on a snapper spine. Try as I might, with lots of digging and waiting, it wouldn’t come out. So finally today I succumbed and wen to the doctor to surgically remove it, it was pretty deep.

My reticence wasn’t about doctors and knives specifically, more injections in your finger. Had it once before, similar injury, and SO painful. My memory was correct, just as painful.

But in short time he had it out. Relief! Now just a very numb thumb!

Then home to setup the kids iPads, they “arrived” today. As anticipated, straight to the games … hmmm.

And yes, still working on those back blips ;-)
