On top of ..

No, not the world, Banks Peninsula. Mt Herbet to be exact.

Absolutely glorious day today, a light NE, so we headed up Mt Herbet, from the Port Levy saddle. Still a decent climb and yes one of our smaller walking companions whined much of the way. Interestingly, it wasn't Adam, who has an allergy to certain grasses and came up in welts. Yes, t'was the other smaller one ...

Anyway. After some drama we all made it to the top. I swear Hannah has a career in acting ahead of her. Once she works her way into a role it obviously becomes very real; complete with tears, near exhaustion and other general ailments. And then miraculously (at the top/coming down) she can snap back into real life and have fun. Adam on the other hand, just gets on with the job. Around a 4hr round trip (for us), 10km and 250m of climbing.

Anyway, overall a fab day and stunning weather. Home to relax.
