Between fen and mountains

Claude sings Brassens

The snow is down to around 1400 metres now and the surrounding mountains would look lovely if you could see through the cloud and mist. I was, therefore, a good day to get invited out to tea which proved an excellent mix of French and English. We enjoyed high tea with Earl Grey and Dundee cake followed by Claude entertaining us with his Georges Brassens repertoire. I have his CD and I actually prefer it to the original as he has a softer and more lyrical voice.
