incoming data

So I read recently that, "Those famously long summers of childhood are remembered so vividly precisely because we were children: the amount of fresh incoming data was so huge that it took forever to process. The way to live as vividly and as memorably as an adult is to keep the incoming data-stream full, by doing new things." Oliver Burkeman

Case in hand - Sienna's minute observation of the bedside lamp at bedtime. Everything in her world takes forever in her mind!

My days are extremely varied but I feel it is but a nano second since I woke up and my head hits the pillow each night.

Therefore I have concluded that I need to look into lamps a bit more!
