The Juggler

This juggler in Buchanan Street was a true street performer and worked the audience beautifully on a dismal day when the rain was never far away. The act involved juggling balls, but mainly fire brands, and doing this ultimately on a very tall monocycle. He engaged some young men in the audience to help him get on to it (in the main picture) and had everyone in the palm of his hand with his patter. His act deserved more than one picture and the people who stopped to watch were a study in their own right. He certainly earned every pound of the day's takings!
