Song For Saturday

Trafalgar Square

Had a bit of a lie in, woke up around 11 or so. Had some breakfast and then figured what to do with the rest of the day. Decided on going to the ICA and the National Portrait Gallery. Paul and Trev decided they would both meet us at some point as well.

Portrait Gallery was really good, really envious at how some people can be so good at taking photos in the middle of knowhere. Walked to Trafalgar Square and met up Trev and Paul. Decided to go somewhere for lunch so used my coffee app to find somewhere. Cue us all walking around in circles and back on ourselves about a billion times, why are all 'cool' coffee places really small / packed, settled on just going to Eat. as there was space for us. The downstairs had a ping-pong table which was cool.

Then headed to the ICA for the New Contemporaries exhibition, which was a bit so so. I'd really enjoyed it a few years ago, I remember so really good photography and video stuff but most of this years seemed a bit odd. After we headed to a coffee place and luckily there was some room at the Notes in Covent Garden. Was packed when arrived but there's a private space downstairs and Paul was told it was ok for us to sit there. Had a lovely flat white, in a basement surround with $$$ worth of wine and beer.

Went back to Lou's flat and had something to eat and then met some more of Lou's flatmates. Spent the rest of the evening watching a marathon of Bob's Burgers in Amelia's room. By chance we'd watched all of the ones on Netflix when we decided to go to bed. Must have watched about 4 hours worth.

Lou's flat has a truly smashing Nigel Thornberry shower curtain.
