BethaBlip 86...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Bethany had another wee upset with school. Just a wee one mind you. Apparently her reading group went back from chapter books to the Oxford Read Tree books. Bethany was telling me one night that she really likes being challenged with her reading and that she was getting on so well with the books that she was helping the others in her group with the reading. We spoke to her teacher and she said that she had noticed and will get her reading aptitude tested. She also explained about how if the kids finish their work, they can do additional challenges from a board or something. Apparently the board has nothing but Bethany's work on it. I think she's doing fine.

Bethany's had a couple of stints at rugby. She's a member but not a regular player. Unfortunately the couple of times she has played, she's slipped in the first couple of minutes, mud right up her side and wanted to head home.

I was rather interested to see what the kids would make of Minecraft. We got a demo on the Playstation to get a feel for what it was and then I got the Pocket Edition on our tablet. I really just left them with it and Bethany has started building all sorts of big multi level houses with it. It's fascinating watching what she comes up with on her own accord.

In this picture, she's holding the picnic she made for us for the car. We were only going to Kilmarnock but she likes the process. She's also listening to her new Now That's What I Call Disney Princesses album that she bought with her christmas iTunes voucher.
