Holding on

Max may have not gotten the best health report from his blood work yesterday, but we'll hold on tight until his lovely cat life doesn't seem so easy. No heroics, we went too far with our beloved Iris and will not do it again. He's heading to 18 with a triple whammy, diabetes, thyroid disease and two very old kidneys... those could be the clincher. The diabetes and the thyroid are well under control. It's all around the corner, but not here yet, lots more time for mutual enjoyment and his lovely green crossed eyes.

At the end of the phone call, our lovely vet gulped and revealed that she is relocating to Portland Oregon on March 8th. Things got shaky then and it brought me right back to our other well loved vet's move to San Francisco. There is another wonderful vet at the practice, hard to snag appointments with, but we will manage. So here's to Max and Dr. Clark's success with her move. xx

For the Record,
This day came in bright and cold with a fresh blanket of snow. More on the way on Sunday. My bother and sister -in-law are driving to our summer place in Machiasport, Maine for a friend's 60th birthday. I hope the weather hold and that they will be warm enough.

All hands healthy

I lost my ancient Photoshop Elements program with the iMac upgrade(can I tell you how much I miss the old machine), so i can't properly reverse this image.
