Patti's Flower

"Patti's Flower" is dedicated to a woman who was a loving mother, wife, and teacher. She made a tremendous impact on our community and her life was taken by cancer two years ago. Every spring, she planted a hedge of bulbs that she kept wrapped and warm all winter long. When fall was over, she would dig up the bulbs and wrapped them tight again for the winter. Ever since Patti's passing, the bulbs have not been replanted but every spring since, these beautiful flowers have bloomed. Today, I was admiring one of the last remaining flowers in the garden and was struck by the beauty of the glistening dew on the pedals. The flower had a magical glow and it instantly made me think of Patti. This flower is "Patti's Flower"......you will be forever missed!
