Bonus!!

Thank you all so much for your messages of support yesterday. We were worried there for a while, but thanks to our amazing Country Fire Service volunteers, and the water bombers, the crisis was averted. There are two theories - the first is that it was arson, and the second is that it was started by a freight train.

The railway wends its way right through the middle of the Park, and there is an on-going campaign to have freight re-routed through another area. If it was a train that started a fire, it's an overwhelming reason to stop the freight coming through the hills.

Today is like being on another planet. It's been a perfect day, and we went for a little drive to enjoy the fresh air, after all the heat. Whilst we were having afternoon tea at roadside place at Mylor, we noticed all these rather wonderful cars coming past.

Today is one of the very few days you will see the Rower and I posting similar blips.

This is an early Morris Oxford, followed by an MGA. The driver of the Oxford looks awfully grim. I hope he didn't have a fight with his girlfriend.

Mr. Grumpy

Oops, nearly forgot - MonoMonday is coming up awful fast.

EDIT: I just saw on the TV news the horrendous bush fires in Victoria. My heart absolutely goes out to those affected, and by golly, there but for the grace of God! I tell you, these bushfires are so frightening.
