Day's End

Today was a quiet and relaxing day. We are in a state of limbo between the painting project and carpet installation. Most non-essentials are packed in boxes and only the bare bones of our furniture remain in the rooms. I took this opportunity to get rid of a number of items that have accumulated over the years. I'm sure my husband hopes this cleaning out phase lasts a little longer.

In the late afternoon we went out for a walk and encountered some friends in the neighborhood out doing the same thing. We decided to go out for dinner afterward and enjoyed a Korean barbecue meal cooked right at our table. It was a very pleasant end to our day.
