aftermath

Still no power this morning. And the winds still blowing. Water everywhere.

Driving to Baltimore the roads and fields and gardens are littered with fallen trees. Occasional gangs of men with chainsaws working to keep the roads open. Electric cables loosened and swinging in the roads.

Now seven fallen trees lie across my new wildflower area. And three more trees down in other areas, including a huge and once stately cypress which now lies across the entranceway.

Amazingly the polytunnel is still standing. And a few missing slates are all the damage to buildings.

Later I took a detour around the coast, though the icy winds meant I didn't stay out long.
