Suddenly Springlike

The welcome return of the sun brought a lot of walkers and cyclists, including us, out this morning.
As well as Glastonbury Tor with Wearyall Hill in front of it, this shot shows some of the area's industrial heritage: the derelict factory beneath the Hill is the old Morland's sheepskin factory which stood empty for years while the local authorities and Government agencies wrangled over the future of the site. Eventually, local people got together to buy it and it is gradually being redeveloped with workshops for small businesses, a training centre, a local radio station, entertainment venue and cafe already in situ so it's something of a local success story.

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes and comments on yesterday's blip - I am of course still both "sweet" and "cute"! Enjoyed our family meal at the local Thai restaurant at lunchtime today.

Go Large to wave to the folks on top of the Tor
