My Favourite Uncle

Yep, a trip out to see Freddy & Auntie SheShe as their daughter, the ever lovely 'S', is up for a visit for a few days. So I did what every decent nephew would do - took him some beers of course. And my aunt did what every decent aunt would do - filled a couple of bowls with cheesy footballs. Though they may just have been round whotsits; and then she drank some of the beers too! Give the old man a treat, eh?
Anyway, the chat was soon in full flow and Fred reminisced away about old Leith. His great-grandad was the harbour master! And his grandad was awarded this fine Honorary Testimonial from the Royal Humane Society for saving a poor wretch (I made that up) from drowning in the docks in 1900.
[The RHS are still at it btw, though the Testimonial on Vellum (like Fred's) which is awarded where someone has put themselves in considerable danger to save, or attempt to save, someone else, is no longer made of vellum but of 'good quality card'. Bloody cheapskates.]
