I am not a runner.

But I do run about 12 miles a week (sometimes more, sometimes less).

I have always asked, "If you have a bike, why would you run?" I have three bikes (actually, more, but I refuse to count them), but it's easier and safer to go for a jog.

I hate running, it's awful, painful stuff. But, for some reason, I like it. And, though it pains me to say it, it gives me both mental and physical strength.

So I am a runner, but don't tell anyone.
