To Finish the Job

I am getting on quite well with the construction of bird nesting boxes. This was a process that commenced

So far I have made a dozen boxes of the blue and great tit kind.

No doubt it would have been an amusement to onlookers to see me up the ladder today putting these in to place.

I am presently making the next batch of boxes which will be suitable for sparrows.

So here is an example of my finest rough carpentry!

You can always tell whether the birds are interested in a new box because they start to peck at the wood around the entrance hole.
