just get dressed!

Sienna has an extremely annoying special knack of taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get dressed in the morning before school. I mean absolutely the longest time you can imagine. There is not one but one hundred things that she needs to do at the same time - reading / drawing / dancing / soft toy playing / swinging or otherwise activities known as faffing! She is the complete queen of it. It doesn't seem to matter what time she gets up, how structured the morning is, she stretches it all out to last as long as possible. I know all the 'tricks' to get them moving, all the structure to put in place to stop it from happening but she somehow manages to slip through it all and go at her own pace - incredible. The mental gymnastics I have to perform to stay one trick ahead of this one is impressive!

At least it gave me a few seconds to snatch a photo as the light found its way into the house this morning - small joys and all that!
