Not quite Spring.

For a wee while, somewhere around the middle of the day, it suddenly felt like Spring.

I had a quick dash around the garden, snowdrops and crocus making a brave show, the garlic is bursting through and the grass suddenly looks green again.

Then I chopped up some kindling, came back and set the fire.

Now I'm going to settle down for a long winter's nap. As I believe there is a rumour of snow on the way.
