BLACK DUCK

Well that's a relief. We looked where it had been seen previously and nothing, then as we drove along a lane I spied two ducks and we crept up to check, and yes, Black Duck and his lady friend. Does she know just who she has mated with?! And they were there nearby when we went back a couple of hours later.

So, maybe now that the "catch" to the romantic weekend away has been "caught" we can enjoy the Highland scenery. Except I did hear someone muttering about an American Coot near Inverness so ..........
