I would have missed that if I hadn't gone to get the milk in this morning.

I thought today might be easier after the pension auto enrolment training yesterday, but no, the payroll software had a funny (I'm not laughing) turn and it has taken all morning to sort out.

Good thing: I think a pair of Blackbirds may be nesting outside my gable end window in the ivy. I told the chaps in the building next door and they assured me they were not about to tear the ivy down; it was keeping the window in place!
