Beach Buddies!

Nothing like the start to a weekend.....relaxed and unstressed!

Then.....the happening!!!

A service for me before lunch, a wee afternoon cat nap.....then full steam ahead!

A brisk walk around Zabeel park with Pauline, destined to become a daily occurrence while the good weather remains!

Home for a quick cuppa....then off with GK to search out the Beach Canteens seen here , set up temporarily for the Dubai Food Festival. There are three locations, sunset beach, kite beach and open beach!

We hit open beach where we succumbed to a delicious second session of pancacke day. The 'un-beachy' music soon moved us on and we headed for the sunset beach venue near Burj Al Arab.

Thats where we met these lovely folk.....and became the grateful recipients of VIP tickets for the Boat Show!!!! All through a chance conversation over a moth that kept dive bombing our space!! We discovered we had so much in common, our faith being the main one.

Tomorrow looks really exciting and hopefully we'll get to see the third of the Beach Canteens before they finally get dismantled!!! That's after we've placed our order for one of those 'biggest, most luxurious yachts' in the universe!!!
