I went to a Commonwealth Games orientation event at the Emirates Arena today. It was all very impressive.... unlike my navigation to the venue, which doesn't bode well for anybody I direct anywhere! I'm going to have to brush up using the huge training folder we were presented with.

We had some drama, history, videos, a bit of comedy and some usefully bitesize facts about the Games to get us started. Obviously the most important bit was finding out what the uniform looks like. Thank goodness it's not the garish pink I've seen at other things. Red, white and grey I can work with :)

I'm really quite excited now! I need to buy some comfy shoes....
