Following yesterday's nostalgia trip I trawled through the 120-odd postcards, comparing senders, addresses (five of my seven Edinburgh flatshares and many to my home address) and, those that bore them, stamps.

It is quite interesting how the postage rate rises over the pre-decimal period , between the first in 1957 and 1970. It seems that tuppence ha'penny was the going rate for a good seven years.
