IT'S JUST A GAME

I spent the morning at Preston North End Football Club attending a seminar on payroll and pensions. During coffee break there were a couple of men, presumably football players, running up and down the steps around the ground. I was hoping they would trot over and lay under the sun lamps on the pitch, but no. Even so, the coffee break was probably the most exciting part of the morning.
