Spot the Squirrel game!

I know it's a rubbish photograph but I didn't take many today, gall bladder playing up again for the past few days so wasn't really in the mood but Jonty loves his morning walk.
This squirrel, if you've spotted him, was nibbling at the branches a few inches away from the tips. It was the falling leaves that first made me look up and notice him.

Just a little bit of trivia that was on the news the other day. Did you know that a little known law has just been repealed? It was an offence to rescue, treat, or release grey squirrels. They are routinely euthanised by animal organisations such as the RSPCA. Seems harsh but they were introduced from North America and have displaced most of the Red Squirrel population in Britain.
