Mum and her gardener!

This is mum with Pat, who is doing a great job week, by week on mum's overgrown and mossy garden.
It was lovely to meet her and also mum's regular cleaner who came by to give the house the once over (very Lady of the Manor - all these people 'doing' for her!)

It was lovely and sunny today so I persuaded mum to get her (mobility) scooter out and we went out in her village to the shops to fetch some fresh bits for lunch, and the papers.

I stayed until early evening and did a straight drive home, very little traffic to worry about, making good time to arrive for a curry with all the trimmings provided by Fred!
