Pots of Gold

Delicate pods of gold flickering in the light, nestled deeply inside my little lavender Gardenmum - perhaps this is the end of a rainbow?

Gardenmum is the common name for Chrysanthemum morifolium, they provide clusters of flowerheads over a long period in many colours and are a delight in beds and borders of an Autumn garden, they are supposed to make great cut flowers. I purchased two yesterday, this lavender one and a white one, hopefully some fun macro shots coming up.

Feeling a little jaded today after only 2 hours sleep last night, no headache thank goodness just slow and tired.

I'd better go and get some jobs done before the day is over - have a wonderful weekend everyone :)
