The Work Begins!

Today we got the keys to our new house!

But handover didn't quite go as planned. The previous owner had failed to remove all the junk he didn't want. Desks, chairs, cupboards, bookshelves, fire wood (tons of it) all the kitchen dishes and open boxes & bottles of food! It was disgusting. The realtor was quite good, though. He knew the owner personally and handled the difficult discussions about the owner needing to remove everything immediately at his cost ... Order a trash container, hire a team, and clean it out.

Nonetheless, we did most of the work - including ripping up carpets from 5 rooms.
