Bluebells in Jubilee Wood

A wonderful bright morning. I couldn't resist going for a lengthy stroll in Pipe Hall Farm Woodland. I should really have been cleaning the house and getting ready to go away tomorrow - but, well, the light was perfect.

A couple of cheeky jays, several peacock butterflies, an elusive brimstone and various naughty squirrels tried to steal the show.

But as the bluebells come out, deep in the wood, it was simply perfect. So frustrating to come nowhere near capturing the magic.....
