LE TOUR

We went on the annual tour for Black Grouse today. Up through Kettlewell, Hawes, Buttertubs Pass, Tan Hill, and across the moors to the area favoured by the Grouse. Though before we got there we spotted two females quite near the road. Which was lucky, as when we got to where we see the males it was blowing a hooley and we could hardly open the car doors, let alone hold the telescope steady. We watched them from inside the car instead.

On the way back the weather got worse and we were driving through thick cloud. I hope the weather improves before Le Tour. Don't you just love those cycling sheep!
