Sympathy

I do feel sorry for flightless birds on wet days - all that grass seed gets in your feathers!

This poor weka was very unimpressed. Somehow being wet, and the annoyed look on her face, makes her look even more pre-historic.

Today has been a sad day for me. I had to make the decision to have my cat euthanasied. She had internal problems that couldn't realistically be dealt with. Blaze and I got brother and sister from a litter 10 years ago. Neither was specifically his or mine, but it still feels like I've disposed of something special that was his.

RIP Miss Rabbit.

On a different note: Thank you all again for another day on the front page of spotlight. Your visits, comments, stars and hearts were all greatly appreciated.
