Gullfoss

Today we headed out of Reykjavik for a tour of what is known as Iceland's Golden Circle. We visited an organic tomato farm, the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur (where we watched the geyser Strokkur put on a good show), the Gullfoss waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park.

None of the pictures that I took really manage convey the size and power of Gullfoss. My blip shows the spot where the water drops into the canyon beneath the steps of the main waterfall.
