Istanbul Skyline

One of the iconic skylines of Istanbul, taken from a ferry boat taking us back up the Bosphorus towards our hotel, after a morning of pottering around in the back streets of Sultanahmet. It was fun to do the public transport thing, travelling downtown on a bus then a tram, and then back on two ferries. One that took us from Eminonu across the Bosphorus to the Asian side, and then a smaller quick one that took us directly across to Besiktas and our starting point this morning.

There was left only the **very** steep hill back up to the hotel, where unfortunately I'm tied to the laptop doing some preparation for tomorrow morning.

This one is worth viewing in large.

But later on, we'll go and enjoy the Bosphorus in the sinking sun in Ortakoy, probably.
