Photo shoot..

..at the suggestion of Croftcrafts, the camera club went to Duartbeg to play with wide angle shots. In failing light, this was deemed to be a good picture. Perhaps not the best, but given what we had, not bad.

Taken at 18mm (27mm in full frame), D liked the angle of the boat. The bow catches the eye, and then follows through the boat to the stern and the centre of the picture. Yes, there could be more detail, and more scenery, but given the location, and restrictions this was a good effort..

A cloudy wet day to start but brightening up by lunch. However, spent the whole day indoors catching up with the annual report for the Development Company, and then sorting through my "portfolio" for pictures for next years calendar. Didn't get to look at them tonight though, as D decided we should have a lecture about exposures.. Do you know what 18% grey is?.. We do now!!..

Music, heard this on the radio yesterday. Hated it as a kid, because I wanted to play Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin on youth club nights, where the soul freaks wanted this and Mowtown. It's pretty good really!!..
