Street Tree Update

This is a companion blip to my posting last month when I photographed a street view (from the other side of the street) of a pair of mature trees that were due to be felled. This blip is to record that since the felling the sidewalk has been repaired and two new baby trees have been planted already!

I was juggling a bag of cat food and the camera to take this blip, I could have left it for another day but I was just thrilled to see new trees were in.

The intersection at the end of this block, NE Broadway at NE 24th has been recently reworked with new pedestrian crossings that are a big improvement on the previous configuration. Happy stuff.
