Hull on a sunny day

Hull looking nice on a sunny day!

Down south visiting my friend in Hull. I used to live in South Yorkshire and Hull isn't a very popular destination to visit. It was heavily damaged during bombing in WWII and later suffered post-industrial decline. It has large areas of social deprivation and wandering around I saw many previously beautiful old buildings now sadly derelict. Perhaps, things are about to change now Hull has won city of culture for 2017 and there seems to be some local regeneration.
This part of Hull is particularly nice, especially in the sun and it was nice to take a wander. The Deep aquarium is also a cool place to visit, with glow in the dark jelly fish.
