Tower of Strength

Today's challenge topic is "Tower of Strength" and I had thoughts to photograph the bright red crane outside our windows, which is a tower of strength in itself, but is also in the process of constructing a residential tower in the Downtown Crossing neighbourhood. Either that, or one of the many "Boston Strong" posters, signs, and banners seen all over the city in honour of tomorrow's Marathon.

BUT we have very special house guests staying with us for the next couple of days! The lovely Paula Banks of dogblog fame is visiting with her husband and those two celebrity blonde bombshells, Soleil and Arwen. Paula is running in the Marathon tomorrow. Here is my own tower of strength, Mr. W, whipping those two gorgeous girls up into a frenzy with the toy-of-the-moment, a bilious green cat lent for the weekend by our very own BB. Tomorrow, we will all be meeting beloved fellow blipper just be and T. for dinner -- what a blipmeet that will be!
