No, Poppy didn't get to eat the fish, but she did try to grab it as PJ was pulling them onboard.
These are what we call Spotties in NZ, and they are mianly used for bait and grow to about 20 cm long. If you take the time to fillet them out, they are a very sweet and delicate fish to eat.
Beautiful day, hardly a cloud in the sky. So we went out fishing, Craig (meaning PJ) caught 6 Spotties. Craig's idea of him catching the fish, is for either PJ or myself to do the fishing and Craig telling us how to do it, and not even get his hands dirty or wet, but they are his fish!!
