My Poor Neglected Garden!

It was a relief to return to the office today after laboring at house renovations for the last 10 days. I don't think I've ever welcomed my desk so much on a beautiful, sunny day like this. But given that the alternative to my computer screen would be a construction zone - I was happy to be gainfully employed outside the home.

After work I ventured into my back garden as dinner simmered - and realized the extent of neglect my poor garden has suffered since acquiring the new house. But the kids are still off school this week, so tomorrow they're going to be left a list of chores to keep them off their electronics and out of doors :)
